Sitting Girl Series
"Sitting Girl" is a small bronze female figure measuring 15cm high, 4cm wide, and 10cm depth. If she was standing up she would be 17cm tall
She is a Limited Edition of 25, but also each edition cast will be One of a Kind, as each one will be with something unique!
I cast each girl in wax using the usual lost wax casting methods, and then sculpt an extra addition in wax to add to her to create an original version.
So there will be 25 Sitting Girls, all having something special and different about them. Each one will also be on a unique base to give her height and something to sit on :) As you can see below, Number 1 has wings, Number 2 has a Barn Owl on her shoulder, and Number 3 has a little gold bird on her lap.

The first 3 girls have been stars of my Solo Exhibition currently held at Eagles Nest Gallery, Aireys Inlet, Victoria Australia
All 3 sold prior to the opening, which was very exciting! I am currently working on the next 3, so numbers 4, 5 and 6 in the series, these girls are tentatively titled "Valkyrie", "Moon Flower" and "Minuet"... stay tuned for more details or send an inquiry to be on the notification list when they become available :) I am also working on number 7 who has been ordered through Eagles Nest Gallery for a special customer...
