Spotted Pardalote
A tiny bird native to Australia, distinctive with white spots on their heads with a bright flash of red and gold under the throat. They nest in mud cave nests and are really quite delightful birds. This sculpture is the first full size bird and is life sized, but still small, ( similar to a canary size)

Lost wax cast Bronze, 24 carat gold leaf, limestone.
